AC4C Youth is a state-wide group of 12-18 year olds from across the state that get together to make sure that their voice is heard when making decisions on how to educate other youth about substance abuse. This group meets virtually once a month, and when possible, in-person a few times per year.

Some of the goals of AC4C (Alliance of Coalitions for Change) that directly involve AC4C Youth include:

  • Develop and start a media campaign to help increase perception of harm of marijuana

  • Work to increase youth minorities’ involvement in AC4C youth committee by having a joint meeting with at least one state minority group

  • Support a social media account for youth regarding substance use (Check out our Instagram @AC4Cyouth

  • Train other youth at the 2021 Day on the Hill with focus on mental health & substance use

  • Work on training and/or information to provide to other youth for the statewide Prevention Conference in November.
